Why not Sindh State in India if Telangana can be formed?

If Central Government feels OK to create the new small states, why not create Sindh State in India?

Sindh State is being demanded since the India got independence from British empire. Sindhis Lost whole Sindh State to Pakistan in Partition. Why Government is behaving like Step Father?

If Chhattisgarh, Uttaranchal, Jharkhand can be formed, why not Sindh? Recently Central Government decided to form Telangana State out of Andhra Pradesh. Everyone is trying to protect their cultural heritage and language.

Whats wrong with Sindhis?
When tens of new states are being demanded in the name of Telangana, why not Sindhis say anything?

Sindhis have made great contributions in Indian Business Development and plenty of NRIs keep adding foreign exchange of country at the cost of what?

At the cost of losing their own culture & language?
In absence of Sindh as Indian State, language is at the verge of dying and new generation hardly know any traditions & rituals.

Sometime back when Pakistan asked India to remove Sindh from National anthem (Jana Gana Mana) since there is no Sindh state in India, Indian government recognized Sindh in National Anthem representing the culture and people.

Does that raises a question mark? Is Indian government really doing something for protecting Sindhi's culture and language and traditions?

Do you think you can do something for protecting our sweet language which very few are proud of speaking?

Badia mein Bal Ahe, para Kahiro Sindhi Badal ahe ?????

  1. Thats what I was also thinking...
There has never been a demand for a sindhi state in India...I was going through newspapers and I was shocked to see that why haven't sindhis demanded a saperate state for them...
Just like union territory of pondicherry, which has distant territories from ruling territory, a similar concept can be applied for building s sindhi terrirory.
Kutch( including gandhidham) and Kathiawar of present day Gujarat can form 1st part of the region since many sindhis were settled in gandhidham, and Kutchi is also a dialect of sindhi. Kutchis worship jhulelal, and even wikipedia encyclopedia says Kutchi is a sindhi dialect...just like larkana and sukkur dialects of sindhi..
Jaisalmer and adjoining territories also has many sindhi migrants, and the original inhabitants speak thari, which is also a dialect of sindhi according to wikipedia..This can form part 2 of sindhi state.
Third part can be ulhasnagar...which has more than 80% sindhis...It is located near bombay...

So on the whole, a concept of sindhi state is not difficult, it only requires active participation.
On the whole, it is a concept similar to present day pondicherry.

Here is a link to a question which i asked at yahoo answers:

  2. Dear Deepak,
I wholeheartedly support your idea and its time the community gets together to demand this small homeland for us.
I believe the first thing to do is to organise a think-tank of people who will make a blueprint of the stages through which we need to go in order to achieve this. I am ready and willing to be part of this as and when you organise it. Thanks for setting up this blog.

  4. Every Sindhi in India would like a Sindh state. But where would it be located? All of Sindhi native land is in Pakistan. So I suggest we reclaim land from Arabian Sea, like Flevoland in the Netherlands. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flevoland)

That way, we will have a state without taking a part of another state's native land.

  6. ★★★The Arts and Culture among the Sindhis in India are CONTROLLED by a few RICH and SEMI-EDUCATED leaders who are very PRIMITIVE in their thinking. Such Sindhi leaders ONLY believe in SELF-GLORIFICATION, as they are always just PRETENDING to SAVE the Sindhi language from EXTINCTION by being the BOGUS PATRONS of Arts and Culture in the Sindhi Community. The selfish Sindhi leaders BRIBE many organisers of the cultural programs to GRAB HONORS for themselves again and again. They DON'T BELIEVE in encouraging NEW artistes, singers and dancers who can give better ORIGINAL performaces of the MODERN type.★★The PRIMITIVE Sindhi leaders wrongly believe that they can KEEP the SINDHI language ALIVE just by celebrating festivals like CHETTEE CHAND, where they make the Sindhis drink THAADAL containing BHAANG, which makes them INTOXICATED, and prepares them to dance by FLINGING their ARMS in the air like MAD PEOPLE, and by JUMPING CRAZILY, to the tunes of the PRIMITIVE song of JHULE, JHULE, JHULE JHULELAL. Because of such CRANKS as the Sindhi leaders, the Sindhi language shall soon be DEAD in India!!★★★
